Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) / Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)

PRF (Platelet-Rich-Fibrin), in contrast to PRP (Platelet-Rich-Plasma), utilises a different glass tube system. It undergoes a slow-spin process without any additives like sodium citrate or heparin in the tube, resulting in a pure blood mixture. PRF contains more platelet-rich plasma and added fibrin compared to PRP, coagulating rapidly and earning its nickname, "Biofiller." It serves as an excellent option for those seeking a more natural approach to fillers.

Once injected, the platelet-rich plasma and fibrin initiate a cascade of healing processes, stimulating collagen production. Rich in stem cells and growth factors, this treatment naturally rejuvenates cells, enhancing the overall appearance of the face. Despite the numerous benefits, the only drawback is the limited amount of PRF obtained from one tube, typically between 2-4 ml.
